Description
I am a 58 year old lady living in the Sandfields area with my cats, who are very important to me. I enjoy art and visiting local galleries, craft work, drawing, taking photos, and watching the soaps and quizzes on TV. I suffered a leg injury many years ago, which affects my mobility. I use a wheelchair when I am out in the community. I can experience low mood and require encouragement. I am looking for a PA to take me out places that I enjoy, such as shopping, going for meals/ coffee, attending appointments on occasion, chatting and keeping me company at home. I have a mobility car (manual) which the PA can drive to take me out, but I am also happy to catch a taxi with the PA if they do not drive.

- Attending groups and accessing the community
- Going for meals out/ coffee
- Occasional appointments (not hospital)
- Chatting and keeping me company at home
- Pushing my wheelchair when out in the community
- Drive my mobility car if the PA has a licence
Person Type
A person who:
- Car driver preferred but not essential

Hours
8 hours a week to be used as 2 x 3 hours and 1 x 2 hours. These are to be worked on a Mon, Wed and Fri, from 1pm onwards.

This post may require a DBS check (the cost of which will be met by NPTCBC). If this post requires you to work with children then it is compulsory for you to have a DBS check prior to commencement.
If requested by the employer, two satisfactory references must be provided. This post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.
Wages will be paid on a 4 weekly or monthly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.
You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.
You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
