Constituency Boundary Changes
New boundaries for parliamentary constituencies were produced as part of a boundary review exercise completed in 2023.
The revised boundaries are intended to reflect population changes since the last constituency changes in 2010.
The Boundary Commission for Wales undertook the Welsh review which specifically only affects UK Parliamentary constituency boundaries.
Changes to constituency boundaries
The number of seats in the House of Commons will remain the same at 650.
Wales will lose eight parliamentary seats reducing from 40 to 32 with changes to all constituencies other than Ynys Môn in North Wales.
The boundaries used for local council and Senedd elections have not changed.
Rules about constituency size
The electorate range for all seats in the UK are now required to be between 69,724 and 77,062.
