Target Operating Model

The council has already significantly invested in changing the capability of its digital services function and have implemented an innovative new Digital Services Target Operating Model.

The Target Operating Model sets out a clear approach to support the execution of our Corporate Plan 2022-2027, supporting the delivery of the council’s four well-being objectives, whilst transforming the NPT experience for all residents, businesses, elected members, staff and visitors.

We have built on the work recently completed to develop the NPT Cyber Security Strategy and Action Plan, and the NPT Digital Service Manual – which includes the NPT Technology Code of Practice and NPT Digital Service Standards. These key documents are ensuring our alignment to national service standards (including the Digital Strategy for Wales and Cyber Action Plan for Wales), and have been consulted on with a wide range of partners.
