Corporate plan 2024-2027

The Corporate Plan 2024/2027: ‘Working towards a more prosperous, fairer and greener NPT’ is a revision of ‘Recover, Reset, Renew’ which was approved for 2022/2027.

Since 2022 so much has changed - following on from a number of local, national and global events the Corporate Plan needed to be reset to have a more focused approach for the remaining three years of this local government term.

The Corporate Plan 2024/2027, adopted by Council on 26 July 2024, provides a strategic direction for travel and sets out 9 transformation programmes across the four well-being objectives to be achieved by 2027 and takes into account the views of people living and working in the county.

Our four well-being objectives are:

• all children get the best start in life
• all communities are thriving and sustainable
• our local environment, culture and heritage can be enjoyed by future generations
• local people are skilled and can access high quality green jobs
