Call for Candidate Sites 2023

The call for candidate sites 2023 which ran from 6^th November until the 18^th December 2023 has now closed.

Duly made candidate site submissions will be added to the candidate sites register when it is re-published alongside the Replacement Local Development Plan (RLDP) 2023-2038 Preferred Strategy in Autumn 2024.

The Council is currently assessing the candidate sites submitted in line with the candidate sites assessment methodology which is available below:

Call for Candidate Sites 2022

In spring 2022 we invited submissions from developers, landowners and the public for sites for new development, redevelopment or protection in the Replacement LDP.

These sites are known as ‘candidate sites’*. All candidate site submissions contributed to the ‘Candidate Site Register’, which was consulted on between 21st July 2022 to 22nd September 2022 and is below.
