We have two principal Civic Centres located in the town centres of Neath and Port Talbot. They are within easy walking distance of town centre car parks and the train and bus stations. The addresses of the Civic Centres are: -

Train information
Neath Port Talbot is well served by high speed trains from London and frequent trains run from West Wales, the Marches, the Midlands and the south-west. There are also local stations at Briton Ferry and Baglan

Coach and bus information
First Cymru operates a frequent shuttle coach service from Cardiff to Neath Port Talbot and Bristol airport. The service runs hourly off-peak and half-hourly at peak times. There are frequent National Express coaches to Port Talbot too, from all other principal towns in south and west Wales. The National Express also links with London and Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Travelling by car
The M4 gives good access to Neath, Port Talbot and Pontardawe. If you are heading for Port Tabot from the Carmarthen direction it is best to use junction 41 and from Cardiff direction the easiest route is from junction 40. For Neath, it’s junction 43 for both directions, Pontardawe it’s junction 45 in both directions.
