From 4/7/16, all official searches must be submitted using the new version Con29 (2016) edition.
Following HMRC’S recent decision that Con29R and Con29O products submitted to the Local Authority are considered to be subject to VAT at the standard rate of 20%, effective from 1st April 2017 we have increased our fees for these items by 20%. The statutory LLC1 Official Certificate of Search (and any additional parcel fee) is unaffected by this change.
The above Searches can be sent in via email and returned via email – please contact us for details. Payments may be made by card payment over the phone; by cheque; with cash or monthly invoicing for firms regulated by Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Requests under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 can also be made via Land Charges but please note these are not Searches, they are currently free of charge and can take up to 20 working days. We are at present calculating a charging structure in relation to EIR requests, you will updated with any required fees as and when appropriate.
