Comedy Festival Logo Resized 2 Comedy Festival Logo Resized 2

September 20th – October 6th, 2024

The first ever Stand-Up for South Wales Comedy Festival is on the way!

This autumn we’re spreading the feel-good factor across Neath Port Talbot.

Along with some of the biggest names from the UK stand-up scene, up-and-coming acts fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe will be performing at venues near you.

As well as plenty of side-splitting stand-up, there’ll be:

  • family-friendly shows
  • silly stuff for kids
  • a range of other cool comedy capers occurring all over NPT!

Keep up to date with the latest festival news at www.southwalescomedy.com …and via #southwalescomedy on Facebook & Instagram.

Line-up so far…

Friday September 20th

Hal Cruttenden - Neath RFC Clubhouse, The Gnoll, 8pm

Hal is one of the UK’s best loved stand ups with appearances on:

  • Live at the Apollo
  • Have I Got News For You
  • The Royal Variety Performance
  • Would I Lie To You?
  • The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice
  • The Apprentice: You’re Fired

He’s also a massive rugby fan as anyone who’s heard his ‘Rugby Jubbly’ podcast will know. Quite fitting then that he’ll be ‘kicking off’ the festival in the hometown of the WRU …Neath!

Milton Jones - HA!MILTON - Princess Royal Theatre, Port Talbot, 7.30pm

This is not a musical. Milton Jones is tone-deaf and has no sense of rhythm, but at least he doesn’t make a song and dance about it. He has more important things to discuss. Like giraffes …and there’s a bit about tomatoes.

You might know him from Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo or Radio 4. This is a whole new show of daftness. You know it makes sense
